In non-political tournament news, U.S. defenseman Charlie McAvoy will miss tomorrow night's championship game due to an upper body injury. He is believed to have been originally injured in the opener versus Finland.

His right eye looked strange in the last photo I saw him in. Hope it's not something serious.

For God knows what reason, the convicted felon must think this is up there with 1980 in Lake Placid, when there's no comparison. He knows less about hockey than he does women's college volleyball.
