The more I think about it I'm just not buying Rodgers to the Steelers. They're better off with Wilson. Rodgers can go to the Giants and they can reach for Jaxson Dart to play behind him.

At those prices, Darnold. A $10m difference isn't really that significant. Darnold had an awful end of the season, but Rodgers looked cooked the whole year. If I have to choose at a similar price point, give me the 28-year-old guy in 2025 vs. the 42-year-old.Would you rather the Steelers give Rodgers $90 million or Sam Darnold $100 million? Bottom line, after this run of Rudolph, Hodges, Trubisky, Pickett, Russell, and Fields, they're still going to need a long-term answer regardless of who they sign.
I wouldn't even think it's close. At those prices, Darnold. A $10m difference isn't really that significant. Darnold had an awful end of the season, but Rodgers looked cooked the whole year. If I have to choose at a similar price point, give me the 28-year-old guy in 2025 vs. the 42-year-old.
Darnold. More upside.Would you rather the Steelers give Rodgers $90 million or Sam Darnold $100 million? Bottom line, after this run of Rudolph, Hodges, Trubisky, Pickett, Russell, and Fields, they're still going to need a long-term answer regardless of who they sign.

At this point, go draft a rookie and throw him to the wolves.
Rough rookie clash for that.
Rough free agent clash too.
Darnold s not getting a 100 million. It's basically 55 over 2 years.Would you rather the Steelers give Rodgers $90 million or Sam Darnold $100 million? They really aren't better off with Wilson. If he isn't hitting moon balls, he is terrible. One reason they fell apart was teams started taking that away late in the season. At least Rodgers will throw to the middle of the field. The more I think about it I'm just not buying Rodgers to the Steelers. They're better off with Wilson.
