Actors/actresses associated with cities

There's no point in arguing this anymore. Agree to disagree.

EDIT: And my argument is for Chicago not Seattle or San Diego or Hawaii.

You brought up San Diego over Seattle, too, which is absurd. I said he's a guy who you can associate with a lot of places. He's a bit of a vagabond.

I would have said the entire state of Georgia. smokey and the bandit, deliverance, sharkey's machine, the Longest Yard, Gator..
don't forget Darien, Connecticut, where the first Cannondball Run randomly ended. I'm guessing a screenwriter hailed from there? It always struck me as funny.

EDIT: Way Back When... 1979

Thought it ended in Long Beach - began in Darien - where the actual Cannonball began.

Cannonball Run was also filmed in part in Georgia. There really is something about Reynolds having the pull to make movies in a region where not a lot of films were made once upon a time. Most of the movies I cited above could have been made anywhere, but shooting them in the South really gave them some character (and great character actors) they wouldn't have had otherwise. Throw in White Lightning, WW and the Dixie Dancekings, Hooper.

Chicago could have a ton. The Cusacks, Piven, all the actors from Steppenwolf. Matthew Broderick would get an honorable mention.
