April 8, 2024: Everything under the sun is in tune ...

Were scheduled to have about 75% of totality in Minnesota yesterday and got bupkis. It rained all day.
 
Interwebs says this is from Texas. Photog and exact location not given, but if anyone can verify source, I'll add here later. ... A really great visual, but is it time-lapse photography or a composite? Or could it be shot in the moment like this?

Nothing much more Texas than bluebonnets and mountain cedar. (Maybe a gun?)

But I call shananigans. You can't zoom in on the sun and keep landscape in focus on one shot.
 
I was looking for a clean image since Tuesday morning to post this right away. The DMN nailed the cover but flunked the pub.
 
Re: The DMN photo. Since when can you fit about 12 moons inside the corona?
