Bengals should win, ashuming they're wearing the white jerseys (AFC traditionally wears white in odd number SBs, although NFC has the choice this year as it's the "home" team --- even if Rams weren't really playing at home.)

White jerseys are 35-20 overall and 13-4 over the past 17. Broncos bucked the usual color trend and went with white in SB50 because AFC had the choice, and Broncos were 0-4 in SBs wearing the orange).

That's a line worth keeping an eye on. Could be a nice middle opportunity if it shifts a bit, like Vegas' infamous nightmare with Super Bowl XIII.

Bengals are home team and have uniform choice. To fix the thread title, it's Super Bowl 56, so even numbered. AFC is the home team.

Also, teams bucking the uniform is not new.

Steelers won playoff games on the road and wore white in SB40 as the home team.

I was five years old the last time the Bengals were in the Super Bowl and the only thing I remember was Tim Krumrie's leg snapping in twelve places.

My only other football memory before that is my entire family screaming in horror as Byner fumbled.

Whens last time Burrow threw a floating duck off his back foot or was a statute in backfield? Oh never; that's why I salivate when I watch him…

I'm all in on the Bengals. Going to be interesting to see how McVay does against another former colleague. Is it just me or are the Rams underwhelming with that roster. Kupp is great, but they left at least 10 points on the board with that missed FG and the pick in the 1st quarter. The Rams better win their trophy now, because other than just getting players to come to LA for the weather and a ring (at a reduced rate), I don't know how they'll put together a roster over the next two to four years.

They don't care about anything past this year, maybe next year. Currently they are 14 million over the cap for 2022, and they only have a handful of big-time free agents departing (Miller, OBJ, Michel, Corbett, Darious Williams) so most of the core will be the same. Right now they have $70 million in cap space for 2023. They have Stafford through next year and that is the biggest question of all

They missed scoring opportunities against the Bucs, too. The missed field goal was from 54 yards, but the opportunity they blew on that drive was the dropped touchdown pash.
