Bengals-Rams: Running Super Bowl LVI thread

I don't think its a gambling thing. Its a trademark on the term Super Bowl.
A restaurant franchise can hold a drawing for tickets and air fare, and the still call it "the Big Game" because they haven't paid the Shield for the rights to use the term.
How about calling it the "Let's Get Ready to Rumble!! Party"?? Oh that's copyrighted too. Stupid. Way too many copyrights/trademarks.

Seattle and Kansas City, 1 year dynasties.

Seahawks were this close to repeating.

Makes you wonder what the course of history would've been like had they beaten the Patriots then tried for the 3-peat.

Pete Carroll will address that in his Hall of the Very Good speech. Beige coat. Texas Roadhouse banquet. If only he won, he's have a Gold jacket and a trip to Ruth's Chris.

Making fun of a demented, ignorant old man who yells louder when he has nothing to say may be grabbing low hanging fruit, but Stephen A has made a career of just whacking at low hanging fruit. The trump of sports.

I'm sharing this mostly because I'm amused when Cowherd reveals himself to be an idiot, which is quite often. Apparently, Joe Burrow has small hands and his arm isn't strong enough to make up for that issue. o_O

And he has the look that he just ship his pant for the 4th time this week but doesn't understand it.

if Doctors Lawyers Accountants, Plumbers, Electricians, Hair Stylists were as wrong as sportsjournalists, they wouldn't last a month and be sued out of existence.

8-10 years ago, ESPN (I think) did a think piece on how the key to being a great QB is how wide your jaw is (or something to that effect).

Colin Cowherd has been an idiot for a very long time.

He was good in Portland - really wasn't a contrarian for contrarian's sake kind of guy, or a "hot take" guy - if anything he was anti-hot take guy back then. But you get paid big bucks, you have to come up with "bigger opinions." The people who really should get paid big are the folks on the set who have to sit there and act like Cowherd is spewing the meaning of life.
