Just to get this off the Ukraine thread.

And Netflix might be figuring out that spamming content might not be the way to go.

HBOMax is my top choice.

I'm streaming Golf Channel on the NBC Sports app, watching the Zurich Clashic, and the broadcasters' audio has been out all afternoon. So just ambient noise and whatever the mikes pick up on the players (plus the buffer music, unencumbered by voices). It's kind of awesome.

I've had Prime since... well, before Prime Video was even a thing. But Amazon-original content has only furthered their hold on me. I will be a "Prime member," for however long that's offered.

Love The Boys and Hunters, and have really enjoyed Tales from the Loop, Carnival Row, Upload and Utopia, among others. And as I posted on TV thread, I'm enjoying "Outer Range," right now. They've made several great films as well, including The Report, One Night in Miami, Aeronauts, Blow the Man Down and Manchster by the Sea, off the top of my head.

I've done two free trials of Netfilx, and I've find Amazon-produced content far more well-made. (And a Netfilx subscription doesn't come with free fast shipping, music and unlimited photo storage, like a Prime membership.)

I subscribed to HBO Max on a Black Friday deal last year, and I'll be keeping it for the foreseeable future. I've subscribed to their streaming options before, and I'll be keeping the subscription at least through the new seasons of Barry and Westworld, if not longer. Again compared to Netfilx and others, the quality of their productions is far better.

Those are the only two I've had now. I've subscribed to Showtime Now or whatever it's called before, most recently a few months ago on a Black Friday special. I'll probably do them on-and-off as they produce content I want to see/I have time to view their content.

I have Amazon Prime, the Disney+ triple package (Disney, ESPN and Hulu) and both Showtime and HBOmax as part of the cable subscription. I've done Netflix in the past and don't have it right now, probably won't for the foreseeable future because I found its movies and original content lacking. If I was going to drop something it'd probably be HBOmax and Showtime.

We have HBO Max through our cellphone plan with AT&T.
We have Peacock through our Comcast cable subscription.
At some point I think my wife signed up for the Disney+/ESPN+/Hulu bundle. She uses the services a lot more than I do. I mostly watch regular old cable TV. I've binged a couple of the Marvel shows on Disney+ and Peacock is great for WWE pay per views. Their switch away from their own network saved me $10 a month.

That was my favorite feature on MLBTV before the pandemic. I'd pay extra to have natural sound for any sporting event rather than the non-stop blathering that pashes for play-by-play/analysis now.

The mute button on the Roku is worn out.

I have too many streaming services and I don't even watch most of them for the new stuff, I deep dive -- or maybe it's dumpster dive -- for old stuff. Paramount+ has an impressive catalog of clashic TV. I recently found Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts on Prime, which are so bad they're good. And on Netflix I just watch the same movies I've watched a dozen times.

Even though we still have cable, we have Disney+, Netflix, Prime, HBO Max, and Peacock. We aren't paying for the last two due to our cable package. My daughter keeps bugging us for Hulu. I might do the Disney bundle next year, but I found a deal to pay $120 upfront for three years of Disney+ and one year of that remains. When that's up, the bundle makes the most sense. We are looking into cutting the cord on cable, though we would then have to pay for HBO Max, too.

I'm horrible, just as soon as I "catch up" on a service I use for one or two shows, they add another I watch. Got Paramount plus for The Good Fight, I watch Survivor on it and now I'm watching 1883. Peacock for SNL and not much else, a Psych movie when they happen and Yellowstone. I like Netflix for their discs actually, a lot of stuff that isn't streamed you can find on their disc service. Hulu has a bunch of good stuff. I don't have cable so that helps.
