Skip Van Winkle and David Teegarden formed their duo in Tulsa and eventually wound up in Detroit, where they recorded this song. Along the way, they played with a fellow named Bob Seger, producing an album and Teegarden wound up as drummer for the Silver Bullet Band. They reunited 27 years later, in 1997, for a final album.
