The Trip to Italy. I absolutely love this series. Coogan and Brydon are such a great pair. All four installments are great fun. So are their earlier collabs with director Michael Winterbottom, 24 Hour Party People and Tristram Shandy. What a team.

Eephus is a flick that was basically made for this group. A ragtag rec baseball league hosts its final game at the field that will be destroyed to make room for a new school. Movie follows that game over the course of a day. Ensemble movie though sort-of-main guy was the tough in Uncut Gems, which was his first role. Keith William Richards. Confusing thing is he looks like Tom Berenger. Went to a screening and cast Q&A last week with the director and Richards that was fun. Think Richards had already had a few beers. The movie's getting fantastic reviews and I did really like it. Absolutely nails the banter and the feeling of that type of group and the nostalgia. The actual baseball, eh. Though that was sort of out of design as the director said. He wanted it to look rough but he said it was maybe a bit rougher than expected. But still solid sports flick.

And Black Bag which I loved. Fassbender and Blanchett sexy as heck, great spy story, sleek look and direction.
