Todd Bowles really ought to be fired immediately.

"They were in field goal range. We'd have had 12 seconds, calculated, after using that timeout to come back from it. Then we'd have been down 11 points, so it's kind of pointless. You kind of know when the game is over. The game was over."

So in Bowles' mind, a 49-yard FG is automatic and would take about 21 seconds to execute if he had called timeout with 33 seconds to play. Unbelievable.

This was the moment that reminded me Todd Bowles was not a victim of the Jets' organizational rot and he really was a bad head coach.
 
Didn't Goff snap it too soon? Should he be cut?

No one is absolving Goff or Campbell for their side of the time managment. But they won, so it's not as big an issue. If they had lost......

The fact that Bowles didn't even try to take advantage of that is a major problem.
