NFL Week 1 thread -- Where we learn the meaning of Vão pássaros

No wind in Atlanta except rare occasions when the roof is open. Does have the third-highest elevation behind Denver and Glendale. (Kansas City is fourth, which I would not have guessed in at least two dozen tries.)

Outside of Denver the strongest possibility is the occasional Mexico City game.
That elevation factoid is amazing.

It's probably not going to give them an out. But that story reads very odd. One sentence really sticks out

"Reluctant to meet Watson in public, the woman instead agreed to a dinner date at her apartment, according to the lawsuit."

Reluctant to meet a stranger in public on a first date...so come to my house instead? Hmmm.

Yeah, that bit doesn't seem right. Either she's very stupid or something shady is going on.

F those MFers; and law enforcement wonders why we don't kowtow to their every command.

When was the last time you saw any law enforcement personnel get roughed up because "you didn't follow my orders?" That's the key. Once again, its a one-sided arrangement. You do what I say, but I don't have to do what you say.

Calm the F down, you've already got FOUR officers around, you've got his driver's license, and his car is surrounded by traffic, then he's handcuffed, then you throw him down. He's another statistic, when was the last time anyone in a $150,000 car, surrounded by a crowed street, attacked 4 officers?

Now you're going to hear the standard "he was uncooperative" BS. Camera doesn't lie.

BTW, the primary question, "what was the traffic violation?"

I thought it was reckless driving. The second citation was for not wearing his seatbelt.

The cops were definitely overly aggressive assholes, to put it mildly.
Tyreek also did himself no favors by rolling up the tinted window and being uncooperative.
Both things can be true.

David Akers kicked a 63-yarder in Green Bay. Granted, it was in early September, but it was still in Green Bay.
