NFL Week 6 -- What could possibly go wrong in 13 seconds?

Or the Steelers will win.

Brady has always carved the Steelers up even when they had good defenses.

The offensive matchup is no better. They are missing Pat Freiermuth. They haven't run the ball well most of this season, something that isn't likely to get better against the Bucs. That means they will probably rely on their rookie quarterback chucking it 50-plus times while the pocket collapses around him again.

I have one unbreakable rule on sports gambling. I never bet on a game involving the Steelers. I'm so tempted to break that rule and put some money on the Bucs this weekend, even if the line does go over 10.

Every team has to play on a Thursday, so by default a couple of match-ups are going to suck. Of course when you make a schedule in May, you never know how it's going to look by the time the game rolls around -- I'm sure no one thought six months ago Colts-Broncos would be a snoozefest.

On the surface, there's only really a couple of duds in terms of the teams, not the quality of the play:
Bears-Commanders last night
Eagles-Texans
Falcons-Panthers
Jaguars-Jets

The other 11, when they were assigned, looked pretty good from one standpoint or another.
There's really nothing to be gained by pitting one shirtty team against another, and then doing that as a matter of routine.

Jaguars-Titans should not have happened umpteen years in a row. There's other ways to mix it up.

The Jaguars and Texans make up nearly a quarter of the season for my team, which itself has had long stretches of inducing tumors in lab mice. I shudder to think of how many hours I've devoted to such horseshirt football, even as background noise.

I'm sure that he can do whatever he wants, but odd that TB12 would attend an event on a Friday night if a game week.

I know it's probably in the CBA but there is also no call for every dogshirt team to have a primetime game.
Make them earn it like the pre-2006 format.
