NorCal high school announces coverage rules

Look at it this way, I consider it a good thing it didn't occur to you why it would be a problem. But some (a lot?) of us had that guy we either side-eyed directly or heard rumors about. Probably one in every coverage area.

This is quite fair and I've definitely heard these tales where I am now. I'm going to retract my original statement instead of just doubling down for the sake of doubling down. I'm mature now! :D

A few months after my position as sports editor was eliminated, and I was out of a job, I found out from a coach in the area that his female athletes requested he be present when one of my writers interviewed them. "He's a weird motherf--ker," one of them told the coach. I asked him why he had never said something to me before and he said, "I wasn't really sure how to bring it up. Now that you're not there, I can tell you that." I asked another coach in the area about it when I saw him and he said, "Oh yeah, my players hate him. He creeps them out."

He's still employed there.
