Please allow me to interject my feelings about Mother Nature

I think today I officially joined the ranks of the middle aged guys who no longer have a use for/can tolerate cold. My wife and I used to love going skiing. Winter never bothered me.
Nope. That time has pashed.
I'm still fine with cool weather - flannel shirts, sweatshirts, jeans, light jacket etc. - but I'm over cold.I still handle it. You'll rarely see me wearing a bulky coat because I don't like the constriction. That doesn't mean I like it.

This is me five years ago.
However, I bundle up to the point of vaguely resembling the Michelin Man.
Today, couldn't find my gloves. darn.

We've got another temperature plunge coming. I'm good with all weather -- rain, wind, snow, hot, etc. Except anything 19 and below. Nope. Get out.

Snow followed by rain followed by temperatures in the teens and 40 mph winds have left the town and my driveway coated in ice. Might get above freezing by Saturday. Might And of course whatever melts during the day refreezes at night.

-5 (-17 with WC) with 3-4 inches of fresh snow on the ground. Low 60's by Sunday.
I have no words.

It's 50 degrees where I live in Georgia. Have to go to Minnesota on Thursday. It's -7 today where I'm going. Ugh.

Livingston, Mont., had a peak wind gust of 90 mph this morning, which ranks 3rd highest on record (going back to 1973) at the airport. The record is 94 mph in Dec., 1978.

Interstate 80 across Wyoming is closed to all high-profile vehicles (semis, etc.) because of high winds. It has just been a crazy winter there so far.

Sunny and 45 in Microville, supposed to hit 60 by the end of the week. PNW weather can be bland, but it's very rarely extreme, which is just fine with me.
