Please allow me to interject my feelings about Mother Nature

74 and sunny yesterday. Light winds. Very nice.
Snow overnight. Winds gusted to 50 all night overnight. Won't get out of the 30's here today with the north door open.
When I find Mother Nature, I'm going to slap the Pish right out of her.

We had a GORGEOUS snowfall here Tuesday. A couple of inches on the ground, kids home from school. They rode sleds all day. Then it turned to rain. Temp is up to 62 today. fork that. ... And my snotty neighbor who kicked all the kids off the sled-riding hill they've been using for 13 years.
I hate uneven weather.

We were stuck in that ridiculous cold snap for two weeks—got to -30 F—and now we have a warm-ish day and rain. Just enough to start the thaw. Then it's supposed to drop back down way below freezing on Saturday, which will turn the thaw into a field of ice as far as the eye can see. Plus several inches of snow on top.

fork this winter.

I was golfing in shorts and short sleeve windshirt less than 24 hours ago.
It was 73 degrees here.
It is now snowing and 31 degrees.
bench.

A week ago, 10 inches of snow, 5 degrees.
The following 3 1/2 days, -20 to -25 with wind chills around -60.
Today, 45 and rainy, with the only remaining snow from last week being in the form of piles.
Forecast for Friday? Single digits.
