That was excellent, and all true. Sanders, whether you like him or not, does always seem to speak ordinary people's language and make things understandable to them.

He's right here, too, but the problem is that leaving our government and democracy to the majority of the regular people does not seem to be a good idea right now. We only have to look to the 2024 election voting to see that. People don't know what to do, don't seem to have the time or inclination to do it, and don't seem to care enough about anything to combat it.

So yeah, we're in trouble.

And he didn't even mention another horrible development from Friday: Drumpf personally going to the DOJ like a man who conquered it and bragging how he's run off anyone involved in investigating the Jan. 6 riot and his other crimes.

Hearing him boast about being the nation's top law enforcement officer made me nauseous.
