How hard is it to comprehend less money in, less money out? You'd think that rational people/voters [major ashumption in Economics] would realize tax cuts to the rich and corps mean less for everyone else.

Sorry wasn't talking about 2muchcoffeeman but more his post about the WH admitting cuts needed.

One of the most noteworthy things about the Kavenaugh deal is how few of his defender talking heads have followed his own line of straightforward denial. Instead we get these weird "well, he was only 17" or the insane "it was rough horseplay" lines of argument. It suggests very few Republicans have much confidence in his denial.

I don't think we should accept her "version" as a stone cold lock. But what would her motivation be 6 years ago before 99.9% of the country had ever heard of Kavenaugh? If your house was on the line would you bet that she was telling the truth or that he was telling the truth. I understand that legally this tells us nothing but if you were a betting man where would you place your wager?

Charles Grashley (and Hatch, and Feinstein, and others) is proof the Senate is basically the world's fanciest ashisted living facility. I?'m 68, but really, the US ought to have at least an age 80 cutoff for elected and appointed officials. Yeah, I know that means Ginsburg would go, but if enacted, let the old forks select their replacements subject to election/confirmation.
