Why is it that so many women clamor for a man who's a "good communicator" but they themselves come off as some of the most horrible communicators on the planet? Seriously.

If a guy says something, that's pretty much what he means. No hidden message, no unspoken words. But a woman? She'll never tell you "everything," even when she claims she does.

Theory 1: it's the same reason that we all work for "communications companies" that can't seem to communicate. The law of opposites.

Theory 2: Women are socially conditioned to be passive-aggressive. To put the needs of others before her own. That's why she makes a statement in the form of a question (and a question with you as the subject, not her) so as not to pish anyone off.

Theory 3: Women also need validation. By asking the question, and getting an affirmative response, it confirms that yes, the room is too warm and no, she is not crazy for being too warm. A negative response does not provide that validation. A response of "It's not too warm, and you're forking crazy for thinking it is" is worse.

Theory 4: She just needs some serious deep-dicking.

Just kidding. Very thoughtful.

By the way, I always notice the bored look in my woman's eyes. 8)

But that is my favorite response.

Maybe that's why you have women problems.

Low blow.

The setup was perfect for it though.

Two words that should never go together: "Canadian rapper."

Friend of mine is working with some, doing some producing.

Tell you what, Tom Petty, I'll meet you at Club Electra in West Leb. Afterward I'll buy you a few rounds about town. I'm a Dewar's on the rock sorta guy. What about you? We'll hash things out and have a few laughs.

i'll drink anything that comes in a purple bag with a gold draw string.

The kid is sick again. This time she's throwing up. I've never taken a suppository, which made it doubly hard explaining why I needed to stick something up her butt. By the look in her eyes, she was convinced Dad had finally lost it.

I couldn't go through with it. We had some of the oral stuff, too. Thankfully it stayed down.

W-b, I just went for the first time in 5 days. Painful. I've totally abandoned everything healthy that made me feel great for 9 months. No fruit or veggies in the last 8 weeks, crappy food, not enough water or juice. No gym for 14 days.

No more. After deadline tomorrow I'm hitting the gym and getting back on the health kick. I don't want to experience what I just did. Felt like I was trying to push through razor blades.

The suppository wasn't for me ... it was anti-vomiting medicine for my kid ...
