That Bulls team had a great 7-game series against the Pistons in 1974 which was really the first great playoff moment for both franchises.

The late Trib writer Bob Logan wrote a book about the Bulls from creation through the 74-75 season (they were oh so close).
Remember reading Love haggling with management about $5,000, or something like that.
That team had some characters, including Butterbean. RIP
