I LOVE Fallout 3. I've put in almost 50 hours and I still have quite a few side missions left. (Only one more main quest to go, so I'm holding off.) I'm just about to level 20.

The first of three downloadable missions was released today. I can't wait to check it out.

I'm loading up on the side missions. Have no clue how far I have to go in the main quest -- but a ways, I'm sure. I just entered Vault 112.

You going for good karma or bad karma?

Oh, and I'm level 15 -- I think.

I'm playing strictly as good. However, the achievement wart in me will use one of my many saved games (I learned that lesson very early!) and will go around to lower my karma to get the neutral & evil achievements. (I forgot to do that at level 8, but did it at 14 & will do it at 20.)

I didn't realize how short the main quest was until I started a mission last night & before I knew it, I was only one quest away from the game ending.

The game started slow, but once it gots going, it sucked me right in. Now I can't get all of those songs from the 40's out of my head.

I've never been an achievement wart. After I'm done with this one -- I'm good -- I'll go back and start a new one and be evil. It's a darn addicting game, though. But a game like this -- just like Oblivion -- I'm always tempted to restart. I just always think: Oh, man, it would be much cooler if I started out this other way.

Couple of notes as I get used to the PS3 ...

* On NCAA Basketball 09 -- Needed some sliders for good CPU gameplay, but it's pretty fun. Major quibble though: How can EA have just about every team's fight song for the football game but only a handful for the basketball game? I play as Virginia Tech (of course), and no Tech Triumph. Yet they have it for the football game. Makes no sense. Should have the same fight songs they have for football. I just don't get it.

* On GTAIV -- Loved having fun running around killing people for no reason in GTA SA. But the damn peds in IV are a lot more aggressive and will gang up on you if you pick on one of them. If you do beat one down, he'll beg you not to kill him. So that's kind of creeping me out. Is it possible I have video-game conscience? Wow. Looking forward to Thursday. Taking the day off and spending some quality time with this one.

* I'm a dork, so I already started looking at some trailers for Final Fantasy XIII, which comes out in spring of '10, I believe. Wow. Just wow. I thought those games were incredible on the PS2 platform. Can't wait to see what they come up with for the next gen.

Welcome to the PS3 world Cosmo. It's a lovely place. Now if they'd just unscrew themselves with the online presence.

Been playing the original Legend of Zelda on the Wii and ended up facing a bit of a moral dilemma. I went to Gamefaqs and pulled up a map of the overworld that had everything marked on it. Still did most of the dungeons on my own, but consulted the site again when I got stuck on the last part of Level 9.
Why do I feel like I cheated? I remember playing through that game the first time when I was 12 or 13 and it took me a couple weeks. This time I was on to the last dungeon in less than a day. Way back when, we had all of these great word of mouth secrets and Nintendo Power for maps, etc. This doesn't seem much different, but it still feels like it took something away from the experience. Anyone else feel the same way?

finally found a wii in stock at wally world. just happened in and noticed one in there, so snapped it up. been waiting to get one for mrs. jps, so nice to get it. we played with it last night soon as it came home, just with the sports package that came with it. pretty addicting, but think I've gotta pace myself or I'm gonna get a shoulder wiinjury from that thing.

Didn't realize that Level 20 was as high as you can go. So lame!! I wanted to be able to have 100 everything!

The 3rd download content raises the cap to 30. I'm not sure when that is scheduled to be released though. (March?)

I'm pissed that they are not releasing the downloadable content for the PS3, nor the patch that allows a player to continue after beating the main story missions.
I have stopped completely the main quest and have turned to doing all the side quests now before I beat the game accidentally and have to start over.
I'm just doing whatever it takes to get by, good, bad, whatever. I shot Silver in the head yesterday for giggles.
I wanted to get the Cannibal perk, but decided the Sniper perk was better in the long run than just being cool and eating people.
I can't wait to get home and hit the wasteland again.

Started a dynasty with Alabama A&M the other day on NCAA Football 08 just for shirts and giggles.

Haven't been able to play a game yet, but am looking forward to the challenge.

I have a FIFA 0X question -- In manager mode, are you limited to managing only clubs? In other words, can you manage a national team in Manager Mode? I haven't figured out a way to do so, so I'm guessing no. Thanks.
