Drexel was forking robbed. Big 11 has way too many teams that will suck ash.

True and true, but fourth-place in the CAA was never getting in...particularly after they lost in the semis.

It sucks, and it just drives home that mid-majors have to be just about perfect if they're not going to win an auto bid. Either win on the road a lot and do well in your conference or you can spell NIT. Hopefully Drexel makes the Final Four there.

And while I heart Farmer J, I have no sympathy for a big six school that gets bootsed. None. Now Cuse know how the rest of the world feels. Plus you guys won it all four years ago. I'd take that any time.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm Pished that Drexel didn't get in either.

BTW, to add insult to injury, the highlight package that they showed at the end featured the Indiana/Syracuse national title game. I rewound to my DVR to make sure I was seeing things correctly.

Surprised Billy Packer really toned it down this year. Guess if the ACC gets its way, and the mid-majors get it hard and fast, he's got no beef.

"Watch out for Louisville, getting a game in Lexington. Home-court advantage!" What an idiot. ::)

Well, the Cardinals aren't leaving the state. That's a home-court advantage if there ever was one for a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Again, FJ, I'm not happy you're unhappy (my Cuse grad buddy who has been pouring it on for a year about how Mason deserved to be in the field last year...him, I'm happy he's unhappy). Just saying that this happens every year, and usually to a school far lower on the totem pole than the Cuse.

I'm sure Cuse will draw Mississippi Valley State and two other duds so they can at least get to the NIT Final Four.

Exactly. He's a forking ash. All the forking mid-major at large guys are playing another mid-major. fork the selection committe!!!!!!!!!!

After Thad leads the Buckeyes to the national title I'm going to have to create the Web site www.firethadmatta.com and make it identical to www.firejimtressel.com

Funny how that works, isn't it?

And this year's selection chair is.........a mid-major AD. Amazing. Criminal.

The mid-majors got flat-out raped this year.

I don't see why Purdue or Michigan State are in. Drexel and Cuse can and should have gone in over them. Otherwise, I'm fine with everything.

And I have Georgia Tech going to the Sweet 16. The ACC was represented just right this year. So was the Pac 10.

And Billy Packer is the happiest man in America because he's a giant ash.

Purdue lost to Indiana State. That's all I'm saying about it.

Drexel's problem wasn't just that they finished fourth in the CAA, it's that they finished fourth in a conference where the gap between 4 and 5 during the regular season was fairly sizeable. 1-4 against VCU/ODU/Hofstra is pretty poor, and in a year where three mid-major locks didn't win their conference, there you go.
