Sopranos Prequel trailer— Anyone else fired up?

Deadwood is right up there too. That late finale didn't live up to the series though. Hope this pre-quil comes out better.
My top 5 (don't make me chose an order: sopranos, deadwood, west wing, freaks and geeks, and Seinfeld. I can't think of any other contenders right off the top of my head, any suggestions? Definitely have gaps in the pay cable sites based on when I subscribed at the time or not. Never got into walking dead or mad Men so those aren't in contention for me.
Worst of all time that I actually invested a decent amount of my time in? Lost, the killing.
I'd imagine some of you will put them on your personal list, I know they got way too much credit when they were on. I remember that I kept going back to The Killing because of the "buzz" and kept saying to myself, "this kinda sucks." And fork them for that ending.

Louie is the best written and best directed show ever alongside Horace and Pete's (even if that show ran just one season). CK was so locked in a zone of zones those 6 years. His ability to conceive, write, direct, and execute those shows back to back was like Tatis hitting 2 grand slams in one inning.

The Wire is in the starting 5 too.

The Killing season 3, like The Godfather 3, did not happen. First two seasons were great.

But, @Fred siegle, have you not seen Breaking Bad?

Only a couple of more days — very excited.

Been rewatching a few episodes. Have to say, I still don't get the love for Pine Barrens.

I don't either. There are a couple of great moments (mainly Junior's expression when Bobby walks into the kitchen in his hunting gear) but people rave about it like it's a masterpiece and it's not.

I think it's a great, bottle-ish episode. You can watch that one, and immediately get a feel for the savagery of the Soprano crew, but also, how awful they are at their jobs at times, as well as the dynamics at play between Tony, Chris, Paulie and Bobby. It also has a somewhat ambiguous ending, since the fate of the Russian is unknown.

I think that the transactional and constantly fraught Chrissy/Paulie relationship was always a solid place for the show. But while it is a decent hour, it's easily not in my top 15.
