AOL drops Limbaugh too. I think that's nine now.

Don't recall hearing AOL advertise on Rush, and I listen to him all the time.

You see this all the time, companies trying to get on board, that weren't even advertisers.

Another in a series of "white people going crazy" political pieces. However, as an amateur demographics junkie, I'm less interested in who is and isn't racist and more interested in the underlying story about how the United States adjust to changing demographics. The seniors going to the polls grew up in a world where black and white was very black and white. The younger voters are growing up in a world that's far more complicated ethnically, religiously and demographically. And, while, say, Alabama is justly pilloried for its draconian anti-immigrant laws, there is a long history in this country of such action when a heretofore unfamiliar demographic group grows to suddenly large numbers.

What's also interesting in this story is it used to be much easier to rail about "welfare queens" and the no-good people on government dependency when they were perceived to be of an ethnic and racial category not of any significance. Now with whites more dependent on the government (led by the fact so many are turning 65), the voters themselves are often having cognitive dissonance over whether government is bad -- except for them. I don't think those voters are necessarily being duplicitous. It reminds me of, say, older relatives I've had who have lived in independently, and seem to resent you for giving them the help they need. They don't want the help, but they know they can't live without it.

A liberuhl Pennsyltucky judge threw out a lawsuit challenging Obama spot on the ballot because he isn't a "naturay-born citizen". When are the tin foil people going to live underground and stop bothering the sane?

Just more ridiculous grandstanding and pandering and they probably wanted out of this deal anyway and this was their way out. I mean, really, THIS is where they draw the line?

Give me a break.

Once again, we've become a nation of pussies.

Or Rush Limbaugh's a bullying douchebag occasionally made to pay the (very low) price of his bullying. One of the two.

Your anti-righteous indignation would be a lot more palatable if you saved it for instances that really deserved it, instead of times when people are pilloried and slandered unfairly and out of context. Saying it's not a big deal can fly sometimes, but not when it IS a big deal. Then you just look like a faux tough guy. And this board already has one of those guys.

Anybody who uses the term "nation of pussies" most likely has very little respect for women, so it's not surprising that you'd side with Rush.

Oh, I see - he now "bullied" this woman.

Let's review - woman makes herself a public figure by airing her views on an issue.

Talk show host who is on the other side of the political spectrum who specializes in doing parodies and having fun at the expense of others - no different than Bill Maher or countless other lefties who do the same thing -- makes a parody out of said student.

This is something he has done thousands and thousands of times before.

But now, because it is an election year the left needs a cause - they come up with this whiny ass story about "little poor Sandra Fluker who is being picked on by the big bad wolf......"

Give me a break. It is all pandering and election-year BS.

These sponsors who are now "outraged" are minimal in terms of how they are going to hurt the show - a fact that is never written - and frankly they knew what they were signed up for long ago.
