Ukraine Always Get What You Want

It's what Trump didn't say that really matters. He said, "I want peace." What he meant was, "I want peace, and it has to be on Putin's/Russia's terms."

Otherwise, what's so hard about settling the issue between Russia and Ukraine? If Russia gets the hell out of Ukraine, the war will be over. It's really that simple, and if Trump would use his always-exaggerated deal-making skills to actually try to deal with Putin, instead of just trying to browbeat and/or extort Zelensky (who isn't in the wrong), THAT would be commendable. And make sense!

Then, I could, maybe, believe that Trump wants peace.

This line in particular is really stupid to me. How does it make any sense?

"I am more concerned with the gamblers in the stands than the horses on the track."

Here is a really good interview by Jen Psaki with two really knowledgeable officials regarding the Trump/Zelensky blow-up on Friday, and how bad it was not only for Ukraine, but also for the U.S. Give it a listen after the ad.

Fatfork doesn't know or care who Walesa is.

Except I'm sure Putin hates him, so Fatfork hates him too.

This is just staggeringly amazing. Let's just say that Trump's position was that America should stay out of foreign wars. That's wrong but potentially defensible. This is you need to bend the knee to Putin or else.
