Week 1 College Football Thread: Seven Years of College Station Down the Drain

What's with all these teams with maroon and gold colors changing to dull rusty brownish red and dirty dull matte gold? It was apparent with USC yesterday and FSU tonight.

To its credit BC has apparently resisted this trend.

I've heard people suggest it may have something to do with the color mix of LED lighting becoming more common -- the lighting has more blue/greenish tinting so red uniforms look somewhat duller on teevee screens.

What is going on?

My joy in ND winning is only slightly greater than my joy in BC getting stomped.

Not helping FSU.

Does mean FSU might have packed it in by the time they play ND.

I noticed USC's, and my first thought was that all games in domes seem to have a duller look.

Florida State flat out sucks. Maybe the Gators can pick up a FBS win yet.
