WOOT-OFF! and there's one on kids.woot.com too

Re: WOOT OFF (sorry, I slept)

Finally over. Flashing Woot lights, $4.99. I think I have 17 pairs, if you want one let me know, I'll send them.

They're great for lighting the runway when the monkeys land the helicopters, but otherwise, they scare the dog.

Re: WOOT OFF (sorry, I slept)

Just checked the blog, sure did want one of those Perfect pull-ups. Bought three sets of the lights: One for home, one for the office and one in case either set failed.

Re: WOOT OFF (sorry, I slept)

Not a WOOTOFF, but I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with one of these contraptions.

Re: Running Woot Thread

I think we got ourselves a Wootoff.

Re: WOOT-OFF!

One hell of a Jim Carroll tribute there now.

Eight track didn't make it it was twenty years old
Cashette'll be soon goin' right behind
Vinyl's back from heaven but the cost, wow, ugh
Though 120 grams really does sound fine
Reel-to-reel never caught on in the home
Now with DVD, you will see
You burn 'em easily

Those are formats that died, died
Those are formats that died, died
Those are formats that died, died
Those are formats that died, died
They were popular, and they died

This Sony recorder lets you make your own copies
Like right from camcorder or maybe TV
Probably means this format here is basically dead
Like the magnetic spool or the minicashette
Though at one time they were fine
Now they're two more formats died

Those are formats that died, died
Those are formats that died, died
Those are formats that died, died
Those are formats that died, died
They were popular, and they died

Never had a chance to make an Elcaset room
And Laserdisc was shiny, but there wasn't a boom
DAT had lots of people carrying a flame
But DVD is what caught all the fame
This Sony's for home movie lovers
Don't you miss this deal, you mothers

Those are formats that died, died
Those are formats that died, died
Those are formats that died, died
Those are formats that died, died
They were popular, and they died

Using One Touch Dubbing might seem aloof
Like the kind of thing you never even had in your youth
But unlike an old wax cylinder you'll
Give it some use
Hey, burn the output in 1080i
1080i? HDMI!

Unlike formats that died, died
All those formats that died, died
Those were formats that died, died
Those were formats that died, died
They were popular, and they died

Beta got hushed up by all sorts of crap
And Sony held a grudge without any reminders
They said, Hey, we're gonna win next time
This will be behind us
Only Blu-Ray's not really catchin' on
Fast as they would like it

Just like formats that died, died
All those formats that died, died
Those poor formats that died, died
Those were formats that died, died
They were popular, and they died

Eight track didn't make it it was twenty years old
Cashette'll be soon goin' right behind
Vinyl's back from heaven but the cost, wow, ugh

But this tribute's for you, my brother

Those are formats that died, died

Re: WOOT-OFF!

Yeah, I'm broke as a joke and have to spend the next three days cleaning. Oh well. I'll check in here occasionally. Live-blog it!
