The world is constantly changing. Some of us like to remember when life was much simpler. So we thought it would be nice to recall fond things. See if you can keep the theme going.
You know that you're old school if you can remember the days when the Oakland Athletics had three seperate uniforms, a Reece's peanut butter cup was 5 cents and you knew Roberto Clemente wore number 21.

... say that in Grade 8 your $ 2.00 weekly allowance bought 4 packs of cigarettes with enough left over for a bottle of Coke.

Hostess Cupcakes for 19 cents a two-pack, 30 more cents for the Coke to wash it down.

You could steal Gatorade Gum from the little market near your cousin's house because 25 cents for a whole pack of gum was wayyyy too much.
Oh, and you can remember that Nick Giaquinto was Riggins' backup on the '82 Redskins.

two slices and a coke for less than a buck. change enough for a couple of packs of baseball cards. 8)

...a pack of Topps (with the gum and a good chance of landing a Cecil Espy Cup Card) was 50 cents...

A pack of Topps (8 cards and gum) was a dime!

When the Saturday Game Of The Week was about the only chance you had to watch baseball on TV.
