Atrocious fashion choices by decade

I have no idea how wide this trend was, but for about six months in the mid-'80s, everyone at my high school wore cycling shorts. Like, black lycra shorts. I don't know how to say this without getting gross about it, but there were dances that must have set records for the most teenage moose knuckle per square foot.

Every fashion trend comes back around.

Hopefully not that one, though.

I await the return of jorts and I'll laugh at them again.

I believe the term is "smuggling grapes."

Also, I proudly wore jorts, complete with an extraordinarily long leather braided belt.

I'm trying to figure out the "moose knuckle" v "grapes" thing.

The Yanks may have some catching up to do.
