The technology changes over the years, but one thing that doesn't is a public official belatedly complaining about being misquoted.The UConn statement accuses the reporter of being in a place he was not entitled to occupy. I'd like to see them prove that. I'd also like to see somebody ask the university about that claim. And then ask the NCAA to weigh in on the topic.
It's usually not when the story (or video in this case) first is published. It's only after the quote is out there for a day or so and enough people get pissed off about it.
Then all of a sudden it's "I was misquoted" or "it's the media's fault."
