Purdue was so concerned about the lob to the rim that it failed to account for the guy who was standing about seven feet from the basket when he threw the ball in bounds.

I renounce myself. At least partially. I totally missed the guy starting on the ball and then leaving to help. That decision still looks bad, but it's not as bad as I had thought.

At worst, the Houston player who caught the inbounds pass chucks up an outside shot at the buzzer. They were tied, so OT if they miss.

Amazing. He has 15 of his team's 20 assists. And his team has been credited with an assist on 20 of its 21 field goals.

On the broadcast they said Purdue made 11 field goals in the second half and Smith assisted on all 11 of them.

Jay Wright and Candice Parker did an incredible job breaking the play down to start the postgame show. This is worth the time to watch.

In the first round of the women's tournament UNC Greensboro was at 100 percent against USC.
Of course, they only had seven field goals, so it wasn't too difficult to pull off.

Heading down town with my parents and my aunt for the women's doubleheader, then back for South Carolina-Duke tomorrow. Been looking forward to this for a while. It is a bit of a strange sensation for mom and Aunt Marsha to follow a sport way closer than I do.

I don't think I have ever seen an in-bounds passer unguarded on the pass thrown so close to the bucket. Amazing oversight by the Boilermakers, who played a tremendous game overall.

If only Purdue had some time outs to try to figure a defense. Everything was happening so fast out there. /s
