That said, his larger point is valid. I don't think the Midwest has had one yet in this format and at least one of the South or East get skipped every year while the Pacific time zone is apparently sacrosanct.

I don't get it, either. Not tall enough?
Texas Tech is devastated and lamenting missed 1-and-1 opportunities. But failed free throws don't have to result in 3-pointers by the opponent every single time. There's something to be said for clutch.
