Dan Jenkins to be inducted into World Golf Hall of Fame

Dan Jenkins was and is a product of the time period in which they evolved.
It's the same for everyone from Grantland to Red to whoever.
I wasn't too much enamored with 'Gotta Play Hurt' but one glance at the SI vault grab by Versatile at the start of this thread is proof enough that Jenkins has a special way of weaving and telling his stories.
Congrats on the induction.
 
I actually have a copy of "Saturday's America," which is a collection of Jenkins' Sports Illustrated stories from the 1960s. They stand up very well indeed.
