I completely disagree with Kindred being in that list. I've seen several people call him out on here.

I have no beef with him...but "universally admired" might be a stretch.

OK . . . I missed those.

I have issues with DK, myself, in terms of his general tone, but in the broad picture, they're very, very minor . . . in comparison to the egregious atrocities
committed by some of those whose treacle-tarnished books litter the bestseller lists.
I haven't seen Kindred deal in treacle, and for that, I am profoundly grateful.
