So Shaun King is another person Whitlock interviewed for The Undefeated that he goes out of his way to beef with on twitter along with Greg Howard of Deadspin and Ta-Nehishi Coates of the Atlantic. (I don't know the issue with Bomani Jones but at least Bomani has the good sense not to beef back)
Shaun King was smeared by right wing press who uncovered a birth certificate with both parents being white and a police report with him described as white in a check box. King responded that the his biological father was part black and a post reportedly from the police officer stating there was no "mixed race" box on the police report and white was a better fit for this light skinned dude that everybody in town knew was mixed. He also posted numerous twitters from people he grew up with saying he always identified as black and was thought of as black.
Here's the thing, King did not do any additional reporting other than being the first person to put the court record on record. He went on and on about his opinions on racial dual standards which is a columnist's right. Whitlock makes it personal by repeating that he is pretending to be black (so did Clay Travis) so he is a liar. Mr. King's credibility is not an issue, why are his critics making it so?

Because King is just the type of "citizen journalist" the suits had in mind when they started kicking that around as Plan B.

"The Undefeated" is kind of a perfect name for his dead plaything.
Because if you never play a game you're technically still undefeated too.
