I was a costumed character for Six Flags Over Georgia when I was 16, 17 years old. They had the Sid and Mary Krofft Pufnstuf characters at the time. We didn't make much money but we had a helluva good time, and met a lot of girls. I think I was getting paid $3.25 an hour. We pretty much lived on ice water and salt pills. Gawdalmighty hot in a fuzzy bear suit on asphalt in August.

heck, I'd do it as a side gig now for twenty five bucks an hour.
