NFL Week 1 thread -- Where we learn the meaning of Vão pássaros

There was a similar play in a Cowboys game several years back where Dez Bryant made what would have been a game-winning touchdown catch, except he landed with his hand first and his pinky finger came down just barely on the line.
He and Isaiah Likely should start a support group.

Oh, and the Ravens were +3 and were signaling that they were going for two, so there wasn't going to be overtime. Likely's toe made a lot of people very happy and a lot of others very mad.

I also almost forgot how I hate almost everything about the NBC SNF production. The gawdawful, outside of Rodney Harrison, pre- and halftime shows. Tirico's annoyingly vanilla tone and ability to mention any NFL scandal in the most generic, Goodell-pleasing ways possible. Collinsworth sounding like a three-yard gain on 3rd-and-2 is the greatest thing he's ever seen. Melissa Stark's silly sideline reports (they're all silly, this isn't a knock on her). And ESPECIALLY the corny as shirt in-game graphics, like the one they just showed for the most recent three-peats in the four major pro sports, So hokey. So dumb. And yet I am watching.
It's about the game, not the production.
