NFL Week 1 thread -- Where we learn the meaning of Vão pássaros

There was a similar play in a Cowboys game several years back where Dez Bryant made what would have been a game-winning touchdown catch, except he landed with his hand first and his pinky finger came down just barely on the line.
He and Isaiah Likely should start a support group.
That was against the Giants, and I was working that game.

A Harbaugh coached team without timeouts at the end the game is as shocking as the sun rising in the East.

Or if only Jackson had hit a wide open Flowers on the previous play.
Just saw Lamar's press conference on NFL Network and he said he that pass wasn't intended for Flowers. He said he was throwing it toward Bateman, who was at the front of the end zone as Flowers ran open behind him. Lamar said he didn't see Flowers until he was already in his throwing motion.

Not to mention Jackson was scrambling and desperately trying to preserve some time on the clock. If he didn't see Flowers that makes the throw more understandable. Still a missed opportunity.

Oh, and the Ravens were +3 and were signaling that they were going for two, so there wasn't going to be overtime. Likely's toe made a lot of people very happy and a lot of others very mad.

And those who played the 47 total kissed their sisters this morning.

Funny how often you can say something like that about Jackson in a big game.

that was the football equivalent of having a tap-in to win the Masters and putting it off the green. It's hard to imagine any other quarterback in the league missing that throw.
