NFL Week 1 thread -- Where we learn the meaning of Vão pássaros

Brady was a sixth. He was the fourth QB in his rookie year but worked his way up the depth chart that year to be the backup the next year when Bledsoe went down.

Good matchups this week. However based on history, more than a handful of predicted playoff teams will miss 5hem entirely.

Niner centric but was reminded how in two quick years Purdy has gone from last pick to Pro Bowl franchise QB. Trying to remember anyone else who rocketed to stardom as quickly. Was Fidrych a late round pick? Brady was a 5th(?) but he didn't star right away, how long did he sit, 3 yrs?

Dammit DirectTV better solve this Disney dispute, I'm getting pissed.

Brady was a sixth-round pick and he became the starter early in his second season when Drew Bledsoe was injured.

Dak Prescott was a fourth-rounder and penciled in as the third-string rookie apprentice QB until Romo and Kellen Moore both got hurt in the preseason. They threw Dak in out of necessity and he's started almost every game since.

You also had Romo himself and Kurt Warner, who were both undrafted but had been around the league for one or two years before they got their break.

I know most fans hate the flags, but as a student of actual, technical football execution, I'm really glad the refs are making it very clear with the offensive tackles and their alignment.

Tackle stances have been ridiculous in the last few years.

Let's see what happens with false starts for tackles. Last year it seemed like every one was a beat ahead of the snap.
