You and dixie would have a much better argument if the article had not been penned by Carron J. Phillips. That is a significant element to this.Yeah, that's still not good. I get that it's a kid, but that's still not good. At Central, they went to the "action C" logo in the mid-1990s and do not use any Native imagery or mascots, which is why they still have the approval with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe to call themselves "Chippewas." And yet, every couple years someone shows up to the Homecoming game with a macaroni breastplate (actually happened when I was in school) and that starts the debate again.
