Times reports Trump is giving Musk access to DoD war plans for China, where he does have business interests to say the least. This is about as close to treason as you could get in peacetime. If I'm on the Joint Chiefs or levels well below that, I might be having discreet conversations in secure facilities about just how secure the White House is, anyway. Or Mar-a-Lago, that'd be easy.

One was a congressman, the other a mayor of a quasi-small town.

One is a wannabe Libertarian governor who is loathed in the rural parts of this state, mainly for his outright disdain for ranching/agriculture (nevermind his husband getting into keyboard fights with farmers/ranchers after he pushed hard for a disastrous reintroduction of wolves into the state). The other a cabinet secretary.

The former has no chance at the Dem. nomination. The latter might have a chance because he talks a big game on the TV shows.

Not saying that's a bad thing and is not appealing. But we saw the 2024 election and how this country voted and, well ...
