Fun show. Some quality sketches ("I came into money …" and Pip the mouse), very good Weekend Update and Lady Gaga is a great singer. Her second musical number was outstanding.

Nasim wasn't on the show, unless you're talking about seeing her in the audience somewhere.
Thought I saw her, or maybe it was just a clip during a show. Still a stunner.

Also surprised no Justin Timberlake appearance. I know he's doing a tour, but he was squarely between dates in Minnesota and Grand Rapids. No conflicts.

Maybe you were thinking of Kim Kardashian in the Lawrence Welk/Dooneese sketch? Kim and Nasim look somewhat similar in the face.

In the back side, on the other hand...

Watching the Shane Gillis episode. I'm genuinely surprised CBS hasn't given him a sitcom deal given its proclivities for schlubby guys in household environments. I think he's funny enough, but he never would have broken through if he didn't get booted from SNL. That Couplabeers fake ad (w. "Lilbump" was great). Tate McRae was great to look at, but dang, does her back up band even pretend to play music?

Don't know how Mikey Madison will translate to comedy, but Jack Black w/ Elton/Brandi should be an excellent episode. Same with Jon Hamm and Lizzo.

If they count being the host (3) or musical act (1 as Tenacious D), Jack Black will become a five-timer

Oh, I don't know. Mikey had some chops on Better Things.

Mikey has generally been charming on the talk show circuit, and things like Chicken Shop Date. I think she'll do fine at the very least. Hamm is proven vet at this point.

Kind of surprising that Jack Black is only hosting for his fourth time (sixth appearance overall), because he racked up three appearances from January 2002 to December 2005. Almost 20 years since he last hosted!

On that vein, I'm a little surprised this will just be Elton's third appearance in the 50 years -- he did double duty in 2011 and music in 1982 with host Johnny Cash.
