The SJ.com Style Guide, version 3.0

It has to have been at least a couple years since Rick has added "would." He's that persona no more. An example of (blank) has flipped, suck it, perhaps?

He has tried to reconcile it with his new persona as the World's First Fully Formed Human Male. I believe the explanation is along the lines that he was actually making fun of other posters who claimed they would not sleep with beautiful women.

Six, and its variations, probably deserves a spot though there's been a recent backlash.

One of more recent vintage...

Now do (blank): a Politics thread favorite whataboutism rhetorical device used in response to any partisan criticism to highlight hypocrisy from the other side in as few as three words.

It was surgically devastating the first time YF used it. Someone - Lugnuts perhaps - posted a very sincere, very emotional anti-Trump polemic, finishing with a flourish as if the mic had been dropped. The problem was that, as YF famously pointed out, all the criticisms were things that could also be said about Hillary or 90 percent of politicians, really.

Another one coined by @YankeeFan that I think will stick around:

It's subtle, but it's obvious to the trained eye -- the definition of use is evolving, but it seems likely to be used as a sarcastic retort to a questionably-sourced pronouncement.

Jesus Christ.

I get an alert that I've been mentioned on this thread, and I think, finally, people are going to start recognizing my contributions -- my impact, you might say -- to this site (yes, I nearly spelled it out as sight), and this is what I get?

For fork's sake, can we spare a moment for "LOL"? How about "OOPBot"?

Do my crusades against marijuana and teachers who can't be fired, no matter how bad they perform, mean nothing to you guys?

Has "pot smoking loser" no been entered into the lexicon?

I don't know if I can claim credit as being the first to use "Devilish" as a synonym for stupid -- in an ode to a former poster -- but I certainly helped to popularize it.

Similarly, any poor analogy is described as Baronesque, in tribute to the king of poor analogies, beginning with the infamous car analogies.

But, go on. Mock me for the line you quoted, if you must. I thought I had him/them dead to rights, caught using a specific argument or catchphrase, while signed in under different handles. My further research didn't yield additional results. Turns out, they're just a couple of guys, with ties to Virginia, who write in a similarly bland style, who get worked up over the "real" and/or "fake" unemployment numbers.

I wanted to make some of these additions to the original post, but it's not allowing me to edit.
