The Soccer Thread (Version 14.5) -- We Don't Need Another Euro

If you're going to have the rights, shouldn't you show all the games? Hungary-Switzerland not available on Saturday morning?

My Scots in it until the anthem, at least. Flower of Scotland is always awesome at events like this.

I really wanted to hear it live but I was still eating lunch at a local restaurant and they declined to turn the volume on for the TV. I couldn't help but notice that at the exact same time, their canned playlist landed on "Cruel Summer" (the 1980s version, not the Taylor one)

Also, that key is nearly unsingable.

It appears to be streaming, but I think I know what this is.

These broadcast networks are required to show a minimum number of hours of educational programming per week, which they usually throw on weekend mornings. I believe it's a pretty hard requirement that can result in their license getting pulled if they don't make up for it, but affiliates hate it because they have to rearrange their schedules and bump programming people actually watch.

My Fox affiliate dumped a Messi match in one of their two World Cups onto their .2 satellite channel because of this. I'm guessing this was a means of not forcing them to make this decision for a match almost no one is looking forward to (Switzerland is perennially boring and Hungary's support is rather fascist) and maybe tease their app.
