My original three things that suck now suck more and I can't come up with a single thing that helps.
Opie's tumor was an aggressive, malignant tumor that did not respond to radiation. My amazing, partner in so many adventures, once in a lifetime dog was euthanized on Wednesday.
I am a long time dog owner so I've gone through this before, but losing Opie has crushed me.
Things that suck: Being diagnosed with a rare form of incurable cancer at 42 years of age, while the current admin takes aim at cancer research.
Things that don't suck: GF and I put together a quick trip last week to Italy since I have never been to Europe. It was a magical escape from everything before chemo starts tomorrow. Oh, and maybe I won't live to see the end result of this admin's pettiness and cruelty.
