2021-22 College Basketball Thread

2019, Texas Tech loses in overtime in the championship game.
2021, Baylor wins it all.
2022, Kansas wins it all.

Big 12: good at this basketball thing these past three tournaments. Even better, it's great to see it's not just one school having that high level of success.

What a ripping championship game! It was so exciting, Seth Davis is going to have no choice but to do another 10-minute TV fellatio of Coach K.

They took out their blood rival who resides eight miles away in his final home game at the "hallowed" bandbox that is Cameron, where the tears were forever flowing. They took out their blood rival who resides eight miles away in his final game -- at the Final Four.

They won the national championship as a No. 8 seed, only the second to do so, and taking out the defending national champion and another No. 1 seed.

Nice call.

Ogbaji had the deer in the headlights look from jump street. Aside from the opening 3, I don't recall anything of any importance he did all night.

The MOP didn't score for the final 10 and a half minutes

The last play was not for Manek, trip or not. He was going to the far corner regardless.

I hesitate to call that a Carolina choke, because Kansas was so bad around the basket in the first half that a market correction was most certainly coming in the second. Anyone who watched the Kansas-Miami game had to know that the Jayhawks were not just going to lay down. Remy Martin got comfortable and found his stroke in the second, and McCormack finally figured out how to go at UNC's bigs. Very impressive comeback. Fun game, glad I'm scheduled to work remote today so I could stay up for the end of it.

Did North Carolina shake the hands of Kansas? Or did they pull the Coach K
