NFL Week 11 thread -- scramble up some Eggs Manske

Maybe it was the stories I'd read or watched about how Rosen was a can't miss guy, another QB with swagger who could back it up - and I was disappointed his stay in Zona got cut short when they drafted Murray - but dang - the guy just doesn't have it and I'll never believe another draft analysis of any QB again. It may end up being true - but these scouts are just guessing. Yes, obviously - the team around them makes a big impact - and Rosen's been on crap teams ever since he graduated - but he doesn't show anything that would lead you think he had skills.

The scouts said Rosen didn't seem to care much and didn't listen to coaching. He was hardly seen as "can't miss." He was picked after Sam Darnold and Josh Allen -- and as smart at the Allen pick looks now, Josh Allen was a mediocre-at-best college QB.

google Rosen and "can't miss" you won't need to look too deep. Yes, questions about his coachability - but not about his ability.

Yeah, but that's because there are so many outlets at this point, at least one fanboi will be convinced a guy will work out and write about it. Hell, Ryan Malett and Jeff George still had media people and NFL coaches believing they would be The One to unlock their arms 5+ years into their careers.

I remember Josh Rosen on draft day, lol

Remember when "Tank for Tua" was the rallying cry for about a half-dozen teams?

"Suck for Luck" not too many years before this ...

At least Luck turned out to be pretty good.

And just for funsies, I remember when the Colts and Redskins played in the preseason and they had these T-shirts for sale:

Zero interest in watching that. Read something about it on Twitter and have actively avoided it.
There's beating your wife and then there's what's in that video.

Imagine a toddler throwing a temper tantrum with a toy. That's what he did with his wife.

Looks like Lamar Jackson is too ill to play today. It's not COVID. He just feels that sick.
