NFL Wild Card Weekend -- Nazareth, live from Philadelphia

I still shake my head about this one news copy editor who, when we would send over a teaser such as "Florida St. Wins Big Game", inevitably would come over to us, complain there wasn't enough room for it all, and ask if it would be OK to take out "St."

A copy desk chief wanted to reverse the cutout photo of Georgia's quarterback for the 1A tease so it would work better with her page design. We had to point out readers were likely to question the backwards G on the helmet.

I for a second thought A.J. Brown was reading "Infinite Jest" on the sideline and we could just stop making jokes on the internet if he was.

This game IS being played in Tampa yes? Seems like a pro-W crowd. PS - Crowd "Hype men" annoy me, but is it better to have a professional PA person and a hype guy than "combine" the two so the PA person is ridiculous?

Maybe I just miss all the other shots, but it seems Jones in Dallas and Kraft in NE and Davis in Vegas are the only owners who seem to get screen time. I almost wonder if its because most owners stay toward the back of the suite, perfectly fine to be anonymous.

That was a terrible (QB) decision and throw. Guy is double covered and can't move and the ball is behind the receiver. I wonder what the call was. It had to be better than throw it to this guy even with half the team on him.

Seemed like some dumb play-calling on the goal line for Washington. They don't use Daniels as any kind of threat to scramble or run?

If you're inside the 1, just power the ball in. But when you're on the 4, you're way out of sneak distance.
