My mom is on large amounts of the fun meds today as she, a terrified flyer, attempts to make her way from Richmond to Oregon.

I am housitting/dogsitting for my parents during their travels. Four dogs and a baby. My mom just called me to check in, and it was like talking to an intoxicated four-year-old. She is insisting to me that I should change the names of their dogs while they are away. "Whatever you come up with is fine," she said.

And I received this text from my father: (yes, he says "OMG")

"OMG. She is staggering around the airport like Kelly Osbourne."

Just wanted to share. Need name suggestions for two chihuahuas, one Westie and a pug. Should probably go ahead and address the baby name, too.

Keep the names the same - just switch up who gets them. Confusion all around. Your mom will love that when she gets back. Throw your husband in the mix, too.

My neighbor still has their Christmas tree out behind their house in their compost pile. On the 4th of July I'm thinking of putting that tree on the roof of my car, donning a Santa suit and doing laps around City Hall at noon. I'll wear white gloves and I'll wave and honk my horn at anyone who makes eye contact.
