Week 6 college football thread: Calgorithm is Gonna Get You

It's glorious any time Alabama takes an SEC loss. That is was forking Vanderbilt that did it this time is a million billion jillion times better than that. No matter what happens the rest of this year, this is one they won't live down for a while.

Vanderbilt won while Bama was #1. There were what, maybe 5 to 8k Vandy fans there? There will be 40k in years to come who will claim to have been there tonight.

Well, the velocity of money times the current state of M1 and M2 supply divided by Planck's constant and using a Venn diagram, the possible permutations of actual Vanderbilt students located within 50 yards of the goal post is 125 to the square root of pi, both positive and negative.

I'm certain more than a few Master's thesis will be written about this.

Diego Pavia is easy to root for:

-No D1 offers
-Started as the third-string QB at junior college

Now leads Vanderbilt to one of the biggest upsets in sports history

Stay classy, Alabama.
Putting aside that it probably wouldn't happen if Saban was still Alabama's coach, but if he were, would Malachi Moore's locker be cleaned out tonight or by lunchtime tomorrow after this display? The head slam on Pavia did not draw a penalty, BTW.

Without looking, I'm pretty sure Bama still controls its own destiny in terms of conference championship, but keep talking about how the expanded playoffs are everything that's wrong with Vandy's win.
