Kirby Smart 'probably disappointed in our fans for the first time' after beating Auburn
Kirby Smart can suck a toad. My goodness. He's getting paid to be there, his players are getting paid to be there. You know who isn't getting paid to be there? The crowd. Nope, they are PAYING to be there. They can react as much as little as they want. My goodness, doesn't this guy have enough to worry about off and on the field? He puts the student body at risk just letting the players drive, but its the students who are the problem? Give me a break. If he needs a fan atmosphere to win a game with all the money flowing to him and his players - they've got bigger problems.
Now maybe if you say - "Hey fans, big recruiting weekend, we need your help to impress some players we're hoping to get to sign..."well, then maybe. But my goodness.
Loved all the upsets, particularly in the SEC. Figure it will set up a few "loser out" games in the back half. I don't see a three-loss SEC team getting in.
I'm certain I'll be disappointed when the polls come out, I'd drop Bama to 8 or 9 at least. And drop every other one-loss team behind them. It wasn't like Vandy was a real road game with 80 percent of the crowd wearing red. A lot of the conference's non-con games aren't looking so great either in hindsight. USC is a dud, Michigan is a dud.
